DOZR’s Rental Protection Program (RPP) is a standard protection plan which is automatically added to any equipment rentals on DOZR to take away the worry of damages and accidents for all DOZR renters.
The cost?
The RPP costs 25% of the cost of your rental. A $3,000 deductible covers damages up to $500,000.
What’s covered?
The renter is liable for any accidents that occur from the time of delivery until the equipment is retrieved by the lender.
Covered
- Weather damage caused by hurricanes, hail, rain, flooding, etc.
- Damage resulting from no-fault contact/collision
- Theft and vandalism in most cases
- Environmental cleanup and pollutants
Not covered
- Rental billing due to loss of use
- Abuse or neglect of equipment
- Theft and vandalism due to improper storage/security
- Criminal acts
- Equipment in transit
- Mechanical breakdowns
- Wear and tear
- Tires

Renters are responsible for the care and safekeeping of equipment. The DOZR RPP does not cover any accidents, damages or instances that were the result of equipment misuse, neglect, or general mishandling.
Instructions to Opt-Out of the DOZR RPP
If you do not want the DOZR RPP, you will have to opt-out by providing a certificate of insurance to your DOZR Sales Team representative. The opt-out happens after you’ve completed your rental request. The cost of the RPP will be removed from your quote.
